Patrick L. Phillips, CEO of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), was a featured speaker at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School one month ago. The Allan L. Berman Lecture, titled "Building Healthy Places", was held on the Homewood campus in front of a sizable audience. Headquartered in DC, ULI is a global nonprofit research and education organization representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines. Phillips, in his capacity as CEO since 20009, has overseen an expansion of ULI’s global reach, guiding the Institute’s focus on creating thriving communities in rapidly urbanizing countries. Moreover, he sits on the advisory board for the Carey Business School Real Estate program.
